About the Journal

The International Journal of Intelligent Optimization and Logistics (IJIOL) publishes high-quality peer-reviewed research in the fields of optimization, logistics, supply chain management, operations research, artificial intelligence, and computer science.

The journal welcomes original theoretical, methodological, empirical, and applied contributions addressing emerging challenges and innovative solutions in intelligent systems, smart logistics, and advanced optimization.

IJIOL aims to promote the dissemination of advanced research and practical developments related to AI-driven optimization, transportation systems, decision-support tools, digital transformation, sustainable logistics, and resilient supply chains. To ensure broad accessibility and visibility, all published articles are made freely available online.

The journal is developed in line with the GOL Conference — Gestion, Optimisation et Logistique, an international scientific event dedicated to optimization, logistics, and intelligent systems. Since its first edition in 2012, the GOL Conference has brought together researchers, academics, and industry professionals working on logistics, operations research, optimization, artificial intelligence, and related fields.

IJIOL particularly welcomes original research articles, review papers, industrial case studies, and innovative applications related to artificial intelligence, machine learning, simulation, data analytics, digital twins, Industry 4.0, smart transportation systems, blockchain technologies, the Internet of Things, sustainable logistics, and resilient supply chains.

The journal encourages interdisciplinary approaches integrating optimization techniques, intelligent systems, data-driven decision making, and advanced computational methods to support efficient, sustainable, and adaptive logistics and transportation ecosystems.
